Sacilese Industriale Vetraria was first founded in 1955 as a partnership with the name of "Vetreria Sacilese", located in the town of Sacile in the Pordenone province and was later changed to a Plc. In 2003 it increased its production capacity, erecting a new facility in the municipality of Montereale Valcellina, Pordenone.

It was one of the very first Friuli companies to specialize in the secondary manufacturing of flat glass. Through the years it has obtained certifications for manufacturing safety glass for various sectors such as shipbuilding, automotive, railways, building and furniture. It produces tempered, hardened flat and curved fire-resistant glass.

Sacilese works on a large scale but also takes great care when special glass is required for unusual applications. Wherever glass is used with technical and aesthetic functions, the company is there to meet such demands.
